1% Sales and Use Tax — Dallas County

Adoption of a 1% local Sales and Use Tax within the County, the net collections of which remaining after deduction of the administrative charges of the State and required rebates, will be distributed only to the County and used as follows: 70% for the County Road Department; and the remaining 30% for one or more of the following: (i) law enforcement purposes, (ii) ambulance services, and (iii) solid waste services.
